Minerals
Article

Most of us overlook the importance of minerals in the diet. MINERALS ARE NECESSARY FOR 95% OF YOUR BODY'S DAILY FUNCTIONS. Minerals are life sustaining. The body can function, however poorly, without vitamins, but without minerals the body will die. Your body naturally produces vitamins from its inherent mineral supply, so when minerals are also depleted, the body suffers. Because of soil depletion, poor crop rotation, loss of valuable topsoil due to flooding, and over irrigation, much of the natural trace mineral content has been lost from today's food supply. In fact many of the fruits and vegetables individuals consume contain only eight to twelve minerals, though organically grown produce may contain up to twenty.

About two thousand years ago, when the earth was pollution free, the mineral rich plant deposits were formed. The ash from an erupting volcano covered and preserved the organic plant source for centuries until it was discovered by chance approximately 100 years ago. A prospector was on an expedition on the Utah-Nevada border when he noticed an unusual behavior in his pack mules - they had been licking and nuzzling a fine powdery substance on the ground. He didn't give it much thought until their friskiness and increased stamina struck him. He returned to the site, collected a sample, took it to the assayer's office, and discovered that he had a plant source mineral rich deposit. A claim was filed, but because of a lack of interest in health at the turn of the century, the site lay dormant until the 1970's. After fifteen years of extensive research and thousands of dollars, a proprietary extraction method has been developed. A seven day extraction process, without the use of a high acid solution is utilized, as not to throw off the body's ph. These deposits have been proven, by two of the top laboratories in the United States, to contain more than sixty of the highest potency, life sustaining minerals known to man. Some of the benefits of a mineral rich diet include: high energy levels, better assimilation and utilization of the foods we eat and the supplements we consume. Minerals create an enzyme necessary for vitamins to function, thus increasing their effectiveness 4 to 5 times in the body! When a body is lacking minerals, vitamins have little or no effect. Because these minerals are suspended in a liquid form and broken down to an ion state, they are absorbed through the walls of the intestines and colon at a much greater rate than minerals in a tablet form. An ion is the smallest component a mineral can exist in and is the size the body requires before the individual cells can absorb it.

Every health conscious individual needs to be aware of the importance of a mineral rich diet through supplementation.

Functions Of Organic (Plant Source)

Colloidal Minerals

The body can get along without vitamins but not without minerals: also, the body cannot manufacture its own minerals. We believe that mineral starved foods threaten millions of Americans despite the country's reputation of being the best fed nation on earth. During aging or illness, when the mineral supply is depleted, the cell growth slows down and reproduction finally stops, resulting in death. The person is said to have died of natural causes and/or old age whereas the cause may have been a mineral deficiency. There are many amazing causes of regeneration from adding minerals alone to the diet. Minerals may also be a means of keeping you young!
