Its pretty common for people who have gotten overweight to want to lose several pounds as fast as they can, especially if they need to squeeze into a dress or party outfit for an upcoming occasion. Change of Diet

A change of diet is the first step and one that everyone will shrug their shoulders at and say that it is nothing new there. They'd be pretty close to being right except, for most people, a new diet usually means a calorie controlled diet. This method does not use that, mainly because there are some negatives to simply restricting the number of calories going into your body. The main one of these is that your body is designed to cope with periods of starvation and will simply readjust its metabolic rate to go slower to compensate for the reduction in energy being consumed!

Don't for a minute think that you can suddenly go from couch potato to Olympic gold medallist on your first day. Take it slow and do a little more each day. You'll soon build up your strength and stamina and it won't be long before you're training with the best of them and losing the weight to get that great figure that you were aiming at.
